Cancer Research UK (CRUK) wanted to launch a new annual aimed at the research community. Their brief to us was to create something memorable that had meaning to a typical researcher.
We pitched the idea of using items from their everyday work life but in new and novel way.
We wanted to pay homage to CRUKs new brand so we created the letter "C" (from their logo) using hundreds of Eppendorf and Falcon tubes. These tubes are ubiquitous in any bio/medical lab in the world. The resulting image is stunning yet simple.
The launch of the annual was launched in November 2013 to high acclaim.
