Access to Understanding (A2U) is a collaboration uniting organisations that want to improve public understanding of the latest biomedical and health research findings.
Their mission is to bridge the gap between public access to biomedical research articles online, and the wider understanding of the findings described in those articles.
A2U approached us to create their brand. We produced their logo, website, brochures and brand guide.
The logo was inspired by the DNA double helix combined with pencils to denote their commitment to science and communication. The visuals rely heavily on scientific imagery, as the core audience would be researchers and various stages of their careers.
A2U also holds an annual writing competition that year on year gets more entries and national exposure.
